Breaking News offers a glimpse into a fractured world. Torn and layered newspaper fragments—stories of war, corruption, and human suffering—reflect the brokenness of life as it is often experienced and reported.
The installation has a real working clock that is ticking away. and holds a mirror to the times of chaos, instability, and the shadows that shape our shared reality.
Yet it does not remain there.
Within the fragmentation, there is also an invitation—to look beyond what is immediately seen, and to move through the reality of brokenness toward a deeper sense of wholeness.
Breaking News becomes both witness and threshold: a story of the world as it is, and a quiet reminder that we are not bound to remain within its darkness, but may step toward light.
